EVE: Valkyrie was announced some time ago, but now within a recent fan fest, it was announced that the game will be using the Unreal Engine 4, there will be a pre-alpha to sign up for, and from what we know is that you can play the game without an Oculus Rift.
It’s a first person team-based online multiplayer space dog fighting game based in the EVE universe, with immersive 360-degree action combat, and a game that is built from the ground up to work flawlessly with a virtual reality experience.
Looking at the new gameplay trailer, it looks like those epic battles in EVE online that we see every now and then, but you’re in one of those small fighters, flying and shooting at enemies in a cluster of mother ships and other fighters, in this huge epic war.
EVE: Valkyrie is currently in development by CCP Games for Oculus Rift (PC) and Project Morpheus (PS4). Sign up for the Pre-alpha if you’d like to participate in it.
